Established in 2000 in New York, Block Headwear was aiming to fill an important niche in the accessory market with a unique take on men’s hats.
Block, the name, is all about headwear & it’s location. A New York city block of course, and a hat-block: the name given to the piece of carved wood that hats are moulded around with steam to give their shape (they are “blocked”).

We hesitate to call the Skull Cap a bad boy, but it does seem appropriate as Will Smith sported this very same hat in Bad Boys 2 (as well as being papped off-duty wearing this style in various colours).
